Just after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a diploma in architecture, Imel commenced his profession in the 1950s, constructing one-of-a-kind homes and buildings throughout his hometown of Cushing, Norman and Tulsa. In 1963, he developed the Osher Dwelling for a Tulsa family members who lived in the home for about 40 several years.
