Condominium Updates: Bowood Headboard and Sarah K Layouts Bedding

Items are really starting to select up steam in the apartment! I’m constantly sharing real-time updates on Instagram but I wished to submit some extra photos of the new headboard in this article simply because I love it SO a lot. I’m so glad that Jen and I resolved on working with Bowood for this piece. To say it’s been reworked is an understatement. As you may well remember, the headboard is the Pondicherry from Serena and Lily, in a grey linen that they supplied. I favored it but was under no circumstances above the moon about it, and soon after a handful of many years it definitely had a couple of stains and was in require of a makeover. It was hard to decide because I liked both equally in unique ways – the beige ground experienced a rather tea-coloured, antique glance, but the white/leaf was incredibly clear seeking. The good thing is there was a great alternative – Bowood Union in green/grey. It has a beige ground which is not AS beige as the other edition – so it’s critically the great medium amongst the two. Complicated, potentially! I felt it was essential to do my study and see all of the colour and fabric possibilities before deciding upon, so I’m glad I did that. 

I also needed to share how substantially I appreciate my Sarah K. Models bedding! I located it by way of (who else?) Louise Roe, and just had to have it – even although figuring out Uk sizing was a little bit of a head-scratcher. I’ve constantly just been completely enamored with ditsy florals so there was no dilemma in my thoughts that I desired this duvet and pillow set. It is so quite and charming. The colours, the print, the ruffles…just best. I have a full sizing bed and I’m rather confident I bought the British isles King dimensions. It suits properly and it is definitely gentle and cozy. (By the way, I genuinely need to switch the drum shades – I’m imagining of doing a pleated green cloth!). It is basically bizarre, I made use of to generally obtain sleeping beneath my cover super not comfortable and it felt actually incredibly hot and as well large with a linen duvet go over on it…but at any time considering that I switched to this one, I have no challenges and obtain it definitely cozy.
