Consumer Protection Violations Lodged Against Howard Co. Home Builder

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A Howard County residence builder has been billed with client defense violations by Maryland Attorney Normal Brian Frosh. According to Frosh, End Werks Corp. and Complete Werks Custom made Builders, Inc. and their principal, William Karl Woodward, of Howard County, have unsuccessful to comply with the Client Safety Act, New Households Deposits Act and the Custom made Household Security Act.

Frosh pointed out that End Werks approved countless numbers of pounds from buyers who contracted with the companies for the design of custom made properties in Maryland but failed to finish development of these properties. The expenses state that Woodward and End Werks violated the laws preserving new house purchasers in Maryland by, among the other points, breaching the trust established for the benefit of the buyer, misappropriating the money paid by consumers to Finish Werks, building phony and deceptive statements, and failing to point out material information.

The prices also state that Complete Werks and their principal failed to include necessary disclosures in the contracts with individuals and provided provisions inconsistent with needed disclosures.
