“When I looked at the principles, I will not lie, I was shocked at the lengthy technique, that at any provided place prior to the precise Senate impeachment trial proceedings could disqualify the copious amounts of evidence that show apparent and repetitive actions of felony, corruption, and neglect of responsibility by Governor Torres above these various many years. Without the evidence to back it up, the impeachment approach is incomplete,” she mentioned.

“Doing what is ideal is never easy, but it is normally the correct detail to do. So, senators, we inquire that you do what is right for the individuals: to be truthful. These procedures? They are not fair. They skew in favor of this impeached governor.”

She also famous that there have been no limits positioned on who the impeached official can have as lawful counsel and staff for the impeachment proceedings.

“Again, this is extremely biased, partial, and unfair to the Dwelling of Reps… I am not a legal professional, but centered on my knowledge of the proposed regulations, the Senate will not be conducting a good and impartial demo and, if these policies are adopted, we could possibly not even have a demo at all. The proposed rules are littered with bias. It’s very obvious and apparent that the scales of justice have been deliberately tipped to accommodate the impeached,” she explained.

According to Sen. Deleon Guerrero, “It is crystal clear that the adopted impeachment policies do not spell justice.”

Senator Manglona similarly opposed the impeachment regulations.
